Rorschach Test for Alabama

Twitter trolling can be such fun.

Todd Stacy, who was former Alabama Governor Bob Riley's Press Secretary, put this doodle up on the Twittersphere recently.

We think it invites interpretation. And verbiage check.

What do you think?

"L'etat c'est moi"?

  1. "I am the state"
    Self portrait.

  2. Mr. Riley immortalized on butcher paper?
There's a really bad joke in there that I am resisting.
    Just barely.

  3. I think Scott Stanis has little to worry about.
Stacy's attempt at humor shows just how arrogant, juvenile and full of himself he is.
He had a good teacher didn't he?
I would have loved to have been the bottle of BBQ sauce on the table and heard the chattering during this redneck art moment.

  4. What's the caption?
    How about this one:

    "Just say no to comb-overs"

  5. Doodling can be very telling.
In fact, psychiatrists use that and the Rorschach test to peer into one's mind.
It takes a brave soul to wander into the minds of Riley and Stacy and lots of Goo Gone afterwards.

  6. Your phrase "L'etat c'est moi" is ascribed to King Louis XVI right before they loped off his head.
    A doodle on butcher paper.
    What incredible irony.
    Very well played Max.

  7. I agree, a self portrait.
So Stacy is of the mind he controls the state?
He could be right considering Rep. Mike Hubbard has put him in charge of messaging for the Alabama House.
These guys remind me of Great Whites in a feeding frenzy.

  11. "Drawering" is an idiotic, stupid bastardization of the word "drawing" that came about on college campuses and from the slacker crowd after way too much celebratory inebriation and other mind altering extracurricular activities.
Anyone who uses the term needs to just STOP IT.
For someone who holds a position of press secretary to employ the term just goes to show you what kind of infantile mind you are dealing with.
