Martin Bashir MSNBC--"When Elephants Rage" Herman Cain's Bull Elephant

Conservative fire brand activist, Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani, chairman of the right wing blog RagingElephants.com, throws dialectical desperation to the blind and faithful Cain followers in the following segment from Thursday's Martin Bashir show.

Apostle blasts the Democrats as "the racist party of the Ku Klux Klan" among other inflammatory accusations, while speaking at a Houston dog track, in a rally that was sponsored by the Clear Lake Tea Party.

Herman Cain was the keynote speaker.

“They’re the racists, not us,” bellows the 'Christian' Apostle, alluding to the Democratic party’s past affiliation with Jim Crow and segregation. What he leaves out is that once President Johnson signed the Civil Rights legislation Act of 1964, the democrats and Dixiecrats migrated to the republican party in droves driven by the ideology of the Southern Strategy.

Never waste a good chance to obfuscate truth when it serves your political smoke and mirror show eh, Mr. Claver Kamaui-Imani?

It was an appalling spectacle of epic proportions and it gives us a clear view of which side of the political aisle modern day political racial intolerance truly lies.

  1. I'm Ann Coulter and I approve of this better black man.

  2. Jeremiah Wright of the right.
He'll get a pass though. Cainiacs just cannot admit they're wrong no matter what else comes out.
Can you imagine what his church must be like? This is sounding suspiciously familiar to what frothed up the right into rabid dogs a few years ago.

  3. OMG.
Martin Luther must be twisting in his grave.
This man is a disgraceful, hate filled bomb thrower of the worst kind!

  5. The original twelve would have shunned this shaman and sentenced him to stoning.
What does the Tea Party do?
Exalt him at the local dog track.

  6. The tolerant and comapssionate Tea Party:
To Elizabeth Warren in a town hall meeting: "You're a socialist whore."
During a presidential debate with a Tea Party audience when Wolf Blitzer asked Ron Paul about health benefits running out for a sick person:
"Are you saying society should just let him die?"
    Audience cheers and applauds.
And now this false man in every sense of the word ratcheting up the worst kind of inflammatory racial divisiveness.
"We're the party of the people" they say.
Maybe you are but your the worst of us not the best.

  9. What's this?
The flamer spoke at a Rick Santorum rally too???
I love big mouths on Facebook!

Todd David Ferrell Freda..if I may...I know you are proud of him. He is only trying to please you and people who think like you. My problem is his lying and the disrespect he shows every time I hear him speak... not his politics.

Freda Dolinger Dyer Well, at least you like his politics. He is a motivational speaker - that's why he was there for the Clear Lake Tea Party. He is very passionate about his beliefs. I recently heard his "Sermon of Liberty" here in our town and that is the way he speaks - very passionately and emotionaly - he can quote the bible like no one I have ever heard. Truly amazing. He also spoke at a Rick Santorum Rally in the East (can't remember where which State now) but I am sure he spoke along the same lines as he spoke at the Rally in Clear Lake. I still say Brashir is a bully - I had read that he was but had never heard him because I don't watch MSNBC.

  10. Evening reads about this charismatic scammer, liar and opportunist.

"(Claver)Kamau-Imani credits his father with instilling his taste for anti-establishment political activism. His father — a lifelong Democrat — is a former president of the NAACP in Beaumont. Kamau-Imani says his father was “instrumental” in the redistricting that allowed minority candidates to be elected to city and statewide offices.

Read the comments where one reporter who was also at the event had a different experience.
    Howard Nemerov says:
    March 11, 2011 at 12:13 pm

    “A series of gasps, wow’s and Amen’s.”

Eric: As a fellow journalist, I am disappointed that you would descend to poetic license as a lede. I was at the meeting. There were no gasps, wow’s or Amen’s spoken by the audience.
In other words, you led with fiction for what was supposed to be factual reporting.

We've seen these kind of magnetic personalities before in some of the worst examples of history.

    The Van Wyck News
    Constitution Day GOP Rally
The Constitution Day Rally sponsored by the District 5 Republican Parties on Saturday 17 September was a success despite cool, misty weather. Presidential Candidate Rick Santorum kicked it off with his second appearance in Lancaster County last week. Many speakers helped articulate the message for the 2012 election campaign including Congressman Mick Mulvaney, SC Treasurer Curtis Loftis and SC Reps. Deborah Long and Tommy Pope. A highlight was the presentation by Apostle Claver Kamau-Imani from the Texas group Raging Elephants on the necessity that minority peoples break free of the welfare syndrome and embrace Republican and TEA Party values.

This is getting to be real fun. Now if we could just find a Bachmann event with the righteous one entertaining the mindless.

  12. I read the post "Power & People - The Koch Brothers and the American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC)" and then I spent another hour on your blog by reading your posts with pleasure :) Every article is interesting and easy to read. I really like the "The Last Word With Lawrence O'Donnell on MSNBC--"How Politico Broke the Herman Cain Story"".

  14. Where does Apostle's money for billboards, plane trips all over the country, speaking engagements, boot camps, etc. come from?
He's just a sell-out shock Koch suck up who distorts and twists facts to suit his own financial gain and 15 minutes.
I bet his NAACP father is so proud of the disgraceful way his son has dishonored the work of his father and turned on his own people.
